Thermostable Coating (8160) is a high-solids urethane flooring system available in slurry (SL) or trowel (T) applications. This coating is ideal for food and beverage plants, commercial kitchens, and areas where a high chemical resistance is needed. A heavy-duty topcoat (8160 D) is available to create a more durable, easy-to-clean surface. Thermostable Coating (8160) has a coefficient of expansion similar to that of concrete allowing it to tolerate large temperature swings (thermal-shock) and serve exposure to wet and dry temperatures up to 220°F. It does not contain VOCs, resists caustics, organic and inorganic acids and many other harsh chemicals. This urethane meets all USDA/FDA guidelines for use in federally inspected facilities.
