It is recommended for shock dosage when drains are clogged, as well as for preventative maintenance. Drain Opener liquefies grease, soap scum, cellulose matter, hair and other organic matter. Unlike ordinary drain pipe cleaners, ours does not form a hard soap on contact with grease; the grease is liquefied so it flows easily through the drain.
